The RESCCUE consortium, made up by more than 40 members from different partners, gathered in Lisbon (Portugal) to hold the 8th Project Committee Meeting. This two-day encounter was aimed at updating the project progress, from technical to strategic issues, as well as planning the last tasks of the project, which will end next year.

RESCCUE will organise a scientific conference that will bring together different actors from academia, administrations, businesses and local communities to discuss multiple aspects of urban resilience and climate change. Abstract submission will open next Monday 28th October. Registration will open soon.

In the face of the last months of the project, the second review meeting of the RESCCUE project took place last Thursday, October 3rd at the European Commission facilities in Brussels. During the encounter, the several work package leaders and representatives from the three case studies presented their progress of the last 18 months, as well as the next steps planned for the last stage of the project.

The RESCCUE project has produced a set of videos about resilience and climate change for the young public. In total there are four videos on different topics, all of them created by Lisbon City Council under the title “Urban Resilience as a continuous process that needs to be accelerated”.
